Too bad everyone really does say epic fail. Personally I like it. :]
I want to read it! Well, I wonder if I am just not cultured because I haven't heard of John Darnton - here I was all interested in Journalism. All I have to say is this is probably my next SSR book, because his life is like any journalists dream.
I really like the lede. If the lede was boring, I would probably not be able to continue reading the article. I was interested in the general subject, but like I didn't know if I wanted to read the whole thing.
The first thing that caught my eye was the headline. I like reading news about Nebraska because I was born and raised there. I miss it there, but sometimes I am glad I don't live there anymore.
So, this is an extremely long article I read from a recent Newsweek Magazine. Pages 28-41 were dedicated to this article alone. Even the front cover of the magazine said Palintology- after seeing that, I just had to read it. It's obvious that Sarah Palin has become a trend.
I read this article in a magazine in a doctors office and i had to find it on the internet. This account is so moving and heart-wrenching. I couldn't stop reading it.
I think the title of this article is what caught my attention. My favorite part of the article is definitely the end. The conclusion of the article provokes a moral thought process and personally, I found it hard to choose a side.
just laugh. please, when you read the title what did you think, i really want to know, beacause I was completely puzzled and i had to read the article twice to actually get it. Though this isn't really news, i had to share it.
When I read the headline, I thought potato chips. I know, how weird. However, satellites are using micro-chips to track Mexican kidnap victims. The lede of this story tells me everything. I think it is very clear, concise and informative.
Right of the bat, when I first read the title of the article, I wanted to read on. The first thing I thought about was the commercial "I want to be ONE LESS".
